I’ve used reverb on almost every type of instrument in the studio… but I don’t use it the same way on everything. 🎛️

Vocals, guitars, drums, keys, percussion… each one can need a completely different approach.

I’m breaking down what I actually use reverb on, when it works best, and the biggest mistakes that can make a mix sound muddy, distant, or washed out.

The goal isn’t to make you hear the reverb. It’s to make you feel the space.

Well I'll be...
I've gotten a couple of "marketing" type emails from Yes! Weekly over the last couple of days.

Come to find out Dark Pine Studios was voted 2nd Best Recording Studio in the Triad!?!

Hell, I didn't even know the studio was ever even mentioned, much less being voted on!
