Hello to the Campbell Dance Studio family !
It goes without saying that I miss the connection with the dancers (and families) that I had the pleasure of teaching.... I am so proud to hear of your successes along the way. I know that some of you will have big stories to share as you make your way into the dance (or acting,or singing) world and we want to hear about them. !
Some of my former dancers will not do anything further with the dancing or performing, but from what they learned in classes will be able to excel in other areas.
I am so proud to have been part of the heritage that Wilma Campbell created and to be able to continue her legacy as long as we did.
Shout out to the parents and be loyalty that was shown to our studio over the years. πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰
Assistant teachers-.... classroom helpers. Parents. All of you.
Each year since the decision to close the studio... the fall rolls around with the memories of registration and decisions for who will dance with who and accommodating the many time constraints for scheduling
We were a wonderful family. You will continue to be my dancers and my dance family. I love you !

We are hosting an open house for our brand new Care Center on October 12th from 5 to 8 pm! Come by and tour the facility and hear from guest speakers, Dr. John Canine, who oversees our Grief Counseling Program, and Tom Buist, a national speaker on funeral service.

We are very excited to bring this center to our community! Healing Happens Here for all who walk through our doors.

sharing news from the Charlotte Frontier Days Board of Directors.....

Charlotte Frontier Days has been a staple event and festival for all in the Charlotte Community for the last 49 years. This festival has brought everyone in the community together for family fun with events such as the Frontier Days Rodeo, the largest Charlotte Parade, an Amazing Craft Show and the Frontier Days Saloon.

We, as the Charlotte Frontier Days Board of Directors, have been keeping a very close eye on the current pandemic that we all have to try to navigate and deal with as best as we can. The effects that this pandemic is having on the daily lives of every person in our community and that of our local businesses is unprecedented. As everyone is aware most of our local businesses are still unable to operate or at the very least operating at less than normal capacity.

With all of this being said it comes with sincere heartfelt regret to inform the Community of Charlotte that Charlotte Frontier Days Board has elected to cancel this year’s festival. This was a very difficult decision to make and was not made with ease, however we feel as this is the best decision for the safety of our board and the Charlotte community.

Charlotte Frontier Days is 100% supported by donations from our community and local businesses. With the businesses not being able to operate or only operating at less than normal capacity, we as the board cannot with good conscience reach out for donations at this time knowing that each business is struggling to get back on their feet. The Charlotte Frontier Day Board sincerely thanks each business that has supported us for the past 49 years. We hope that our community keeps supporting these downtown businesses in this time of need and shops locally every day.

As you may or may not know this year Charlotte Frontier Days was going to be celebrating our 50th year. We have begun planning this 50th year celebration and look forward to seeing everyone September 8th – 12th 2021. We look forward to seeing you in 2021 for our 50th celebration!!

Question to throw out for former Dancers and those who loaned or donated graduation gowns.
Will you want them returned or can I pass them along ? Great costumes at this point. And I may keep enough for a small group
I don’t want to give away if you want yours back

A quick note of thanks and gratitude to my studio family. I have been so very blessed with what was created by my mom, Wilma Whitinger Campbell, and to be able to continue on my own. I love each and every one of you....and will miss the weekly connection tremendously. I know that it would not have been possible this past few years without the assistants...and the love behind the scenes. Special thanks to Sarah Elizabeth Coppernoll for her devotion to not only the kiddos, but to the studio and me. Kassondra Campbell, who has given of her time and assistance time and time again....Jillian Yeates for taking on the role of teacher, after being part of our studio since a child..... Morgan Englehart for her Hip-Hop fun classes... Brenna Dickinson (Lisa R Thompson) for her THRILLED and ENTHUSIASTIC willingness to help with the littles, and Eva Quimby (Aymie Quimby) for her loving to help with the littles. Holly Joelle has helped out with so many aspects and likewise with Patrick Baum. The power boosts I have received from parents over the years, are so very appreciated. My Dancing Deputy "Step-Sisters" have jumped to help whenever needed.

I know there are countless others who should be included in this post. My heart is VERY full, and I will miss you. I will look forward to seeing DANCERS continue to dance and know that our studio was a foundation for their love of dance. PLEASE keep me posted!

P.S. The Dancing Deputies will continue to perform and carry forward the legacy that was created by Wilma Whitinger Campbell. We will ONE MORE TIME for a long time!

LOVE YOU ALL!
