We had a couple slots open up for our Flash Flea Market at this weekend's Mythic Con West! If you have a closet of shame or a bookcase of games you aren’t playing, grab a ticket and come sell them at the con! (You do not need a ticket to attend or buy...only to sell!)

We are excited to have The Wyvern's Tale at Mythic Con West as a vendor. The Wyvern's Tale is a staple in the Asheville gaming scene. Their amazing store is at 347 Merrimon Avenue in Asheville, North Carolina. (Depending on traffic, its roughly 15 minutes from the convention!)

They have two stories, with the upstairs open to gaming at no cost. Downstairs you can find all kinds of goodies. In store you can find boardgames to wargames to rpgs and more. And if they don't have it in stock, they'll order it for you!

For those of us out-of-towners, The Wyvern's Tale can be kinda hard to spot while driving if you've never been there. (Karen blames Charlotte and its tendency to tear down old house for strip malls cause you don't see businesses in houses in Charlotte much.) Wyvern's Tale is in a converted house, which is pretty freaking neat if you ask Karen.

We are excited to let you know that the Asheville Historical Wargmers will be at Mythic Con West! If you are a fan of history or strategy, Asheville Historical Wargamers has got some games for you! They have been coming to Mythic Con West (and previously MACE West) for years. If you didn't know that, that's because they like to hide in the back of Burghley B and not cause scenes. (But now you know where they are, so go say Hi to them!)

Asheville Historical Wargamers is based in Asheville, N.C. They meet the second Saturday and fourth Sunday of each month to game. If you have an interest in historical gaming and enjoy socializing with other historical gamer nerds in (mostly) non-competitive games, they welcome you to join them. Also, despite the name they venture pretty regularly into non-miniatures and non-historical games! (Karen's hoping the toy mice storming the block fort will show up. It looks epic. Even if its just a set piece we can look at!)
