Hi everyone!

Hope you are as excited about MC Charlotte! We are busy getting ready for Charlotte, but we wanted to send out a reminder about Mythic Con West. Since we won't have a long gap between Charlotte and Mythic Con West, we wanted to remind you that we are going to be in downtown Asheville this year. The DoubleTree will be undergoing remodeling. (Yes, we will miss them too!)

We have gotten group room reservations for the Cambria and Haywood Park. If you want to go ahead and grab your room, you can!

Here's the links:
For Cambria: https://www.choicehotels.com/reservations/groups/XN12V6

For Haywood Park Hotel: https://www.choicehotels.com/reservations/groups/SX33D7

Tickets for Mythic Con West will go on sale on Sunday Nov 15th!

Hello everyone! We’re excited to announce that the Game Master Gauntlet is returning to Mythic Con Charlotte!

This year’s competition theme is Science Fiction. Five Game Masters will be selected for mortal combat in the GM GAUNTLET.

The selected GMs will need to:
• Choose a science fiction RPG system of their choice, similar to Flash Gordon, Star Wars, and Star Trek
• Create six pre-generated characters
• Improvise the adventure using secret prompts revealed one hour before the competition begins

All interested GM’s should email [email protected] by October 4th with: Full Name and RPG System of Choice. Please title the subject line of your email - GAME MASTER GAUNTLET
Five applicants will be selected by October 7th.
We can’t wait to see your improvisational GM skills in action!

We wanted to remind you that we have a painting and crafting competition. Its new name is The Queen's Crown (previously the Golden Mace but that was causing confusion with the craft-off). We are looking forward to seeing what you will bring! Last year we had some amazing entries, and we expect it will only get better this year! You can get your badge to the convention and purchase your competition ticket at mythiccon.games. (Competition tickets are under the merch section.)

You can purchase your competition ticket here: https://tabletop.events/conventions/mythic-con-charlotte-2026/merch

We have some excited news to share! We have finalized the hotel details for Mythic Con West. Block your calendars for Feb 19-21, 2027!!! Unfortunately, our normal venue will be undergoing renovations in 2027 so we had to find a new location for 2027. Mythic Con West 2027 will be held in the Cambria Hotel and Battery Park. Room blocks will be available at the Cambria and Haywood Park Hotels. We will share more details as we get closer to Mythic Con West. We are looking forward to seeing everyone!
