Sooooo guys, MOOD’s change like season’s ...and I’m ready to GROW outside.

Birthed as a space for my creativity to thrive, THE STU blossomed to much more. Lasting memories, life-long friendships, community, and VIBES were all created in this 10x10 space. We had a “HOT STU SUMMER.”

Now to the announcement. I gave it some thought and decided to take what’s inside...outside. In the short period of time i learned my market, who’s actually supportive and how painful working retail can really be. I love you , I’m moving on.
BYE STU.

So what’s next...?

1)Creating and selling items I love and believe in online at www.shesinthemood.com, at pop ups at UPTOWN and in Carolina Place Mall.

2)Many of you know I purchased a milk truck a few years back. I’ll now be taking what would be the stu’s overhead and renovating it to have a truck and mortar.

3) lives on and is headed to a new level.

4) and I have launched a monthly film series called (info soon come)

ANDDDDD 5) I’m working on a number of home design projects.

I said all that to say, i’m always around, available, creating, willing to hold space and collaborate 🥰. Thank you for the support, love and lessons. SHES IN THE MOOD to move freely while creating🦋.

“If you surrendered to the air, you could ride it” -Toni Morrison 🙌🏾 a yesterday was BEYOND beautiful, I’m grateful for for paying attention to my obsession with Toni Morrison enough to think to surprise me with the copy of the documentary I’d previously raved about. The thoughtfulness inspired me to to create an experience for other people to celebrate the life and literature of Toni Morrison. 30+ women and men congregated together to learn about Toni’s life and work. The popcorn was fresh, drinks were solid and the laughter was plenty. Special thank you to for creating a space for me to even make this possible, thank you to PR team for showing up in many ways from flyer curation to serving and being a mixologist, thank you to my clean up team all of you who were present and being to welcoming to each other.
