More new work documenting the installation of Foragers by at the
Always a pleasure working with the visionary and amazing
Big shout out to for crushing the edit!

Summer Wheat’s “Foragers” () spans four stories and 3,720 square feet in Mint Museum Uptown’s Robert Haywood Morrison Atrium. A myriad of vibrant panels give the illusion of stained glass, and fills the atrium’s 96 windows and weave a story of the people and workforce that have made Charlotte a thriving metropolis.

“Foragers” is part of a larger exhibition, “In Vivid Color”, that brings together contemporary artists Summer Wheat, Gisela Colon, Spencer Finch, and Jennifer Steinkamp who create works celebrating the power of color. “Foragers” will be on view until Fall of 2022.

“Foragers” is generously presented by Wells Fargo Private Bank (), with additional individual support from Laura and Mike Grace, María-José Mage and Frank Müller, Kati and Chris Small, Rocky and Curtis Trenkelbach.

A few weeks ago Jason Hausman asked me to create some visuals for a new collaborative project with Charlotte Is Creative called Played by Hausman. Vol. 1 is with my favorite coffee in town, Not Just Coffee - Atherton Mill
If you don't know Hausman's work 1) its INCREDIBLE and 2) his signature is using recorded live sounds to make music so everything you hear is from him "playing" Not Just Coffee. Special thanks to Gabby Obremski for the awesome edit and guitarist Dan Hood for coming out to the shoot. Excited to share with y'all!

It’s the journey, not the destination, that matters in the end. Still so grateful The smARTlab got to be a part of documenting these bike riders’ travels from Charlotte to Charleston in one day. Their 220 mile trip was an overall spiritual, beautiful, and artistic experience we won’t soon forget.
