Buying the earrings. Sharing her post. Sending her business to the group chat. Bringing your friend to her pop-up because you know she’d love her stuff.

Girlhood has an economy. And we’d rather keep our money circulating between women who make cool s**t than send it somewhere we’ll never see again.

Anyway, shop women-owned.

Seven months from today. Permit’s been pulled. Layout’s been sketched. Everything we do between now and then brings us one step closer to putting on the street festival you deserve. A day made for the Queen City. And we couldn’t be more excited about it. Go ahead and save the date because friends don’t let friends miss No Man’s Land.

It’s almost time for us to go quiet here while No Man’s Land 2027 planning and prep gets underway. Before we go, we want to hear from you.

What would make No Man’s Land the perfect day for you? More activities? More food? More dancing? No idea is too silly and no wish is too big. This festival belongs to all of us, so let’s make it our dream come true. ❤️

The best part of Charlotte isn’t the skyline. It’s the people creating reasons for us to gather.

Now your turn. What’s your Charlotte best? The best part of living here, working here, playing here. Mention it all, Queens. 👑

We saved this one for last. 😍 If you’ve never had the pleasure of meeting her yourself, this is Jordan. Owner & Chief Retail Strategist here at Esther & Elsa and Charlotte small business forever hype gal. She has an unmatched ability to spot potential, connect people, and champion ideas long before everyone else catches on. A lot of what exists in our vendor community today exists because Jordan believed in it first.

Off the clock, she’s usually got her hands in the dirt in her beloved garden, planning her next thrifting adventure, discovering new ways to upcycle old fabrics, or convincing someone to try something they’ve never done before. She is endlessly curious, deeply loyal, and the kind of person who somehow makes every room feel a little more fun the second she walks into it. And if No Man’s Land exists to celebrate women who make Charlotte better, it only feels right to end with one of our favorites. ❤️

Charlotte, we have a question: What’s a local woman-owned business you’ll recommend every single time someone asks for a suggestion?

We want to know who they are and why they’re worth the hype. We are always looking for incredible businesses, founders, and community builders to celebrate here at No Man’s Land. ❤️

Have you noticed how cool our graphics look this season? That’s Emily. She’s our Head of Merch & Graphic Design. She delivers masterpieces in the form of bright colors and cool fonts and she makes event flyers look like absolutely can’t miss occasions.

Emily is also our resident bird watcher and the top fun fact contributor in the office. She is incredibly kind and impossibly goofy, and she will always be tumblr’s number one fan. Every day we get to spend with her is an adventure and a gift, and we couldn’t imagine a better fit for our team. ❤️

🙋‍♀️ 14 new Instagram followers
🪪 somebody’s business card in your tote
🤝 plans “we actually need to make happen”
🤳 and at least one blurry photo that goes unnecessarily hard

Let’s do it again next year. ❤️

Meet, well, me. I’m Ally, the Director of Marketing and the voice behind Esther & Elsa’s online presence. My job is to tell our stories, to get more eyes on our small businesses, and to make Charlotte fall in love with supporting local over and over again.

When I’m not behind the screen, I’m playing dress up with plus size fashion, trying out every delicious bite in the Queen City, or spending time with my chosen family. I haven’t always been a Charlotte gal, but moving here was the best thing that ever happened to me. I get to spend everyday doing something I absolutely love, and I’m so grateful to be here at Esther & Elsa with this extraordinary team of women. ❤️
