Excited to have Avalora with us again this week! Avalora is five Charlotte locals who grew up screaming along to the radio and decided to do something about it. They take the pop songs everyone secretly loves and run them through fuzz pedals, four-on-the-floor drums, and harmonies that go off the rails. We were delighted to show our facility to the wonderful people from the Kids Workshop along with their generous caretakers. It was inspiring to hear about their musical interests and talents, we even got to see a few of them perform for us in preparation for an upcoming talent show! We all know music to be a universal language and an artistic outlet but we sometimes forget it's therapeutic power to our minds and bodies.

The Kids Workshop mission is to cultivate a nurturing environment that fosters intellectual, physical, and emotional growth to individuals with development disabilities.

Our Production Room was transformed this past weekend for an intimate listening party and preview of the album “Worship Leader’s Diary” by dynamic and talented singer ANTHNY from Nashville, TN. It was a pleasure hosting ANTHNY’s party and hearing his new music. The event ended with a live performance, and we got to hear his powerful voice in person. The album will be released Sept 25th. We had a blast recording blues guitar player and singer, Christian Anderson, in the studio this past week. The control room was full of laughs, good vibes, and tasty solos. Our personal favorite guitar solo setup was a 3rd Power head thru a Marshall cab with the lovely Mutron Bi-phase giving us that beautiful attack and slow sweep. Captured by the tried and true SM57 thru a Neve preamp into an Empirical Labs EL8 Distressor.
