It was a joy for the KOVA team to help bring this powerful true story film to the UK. Executive produced by Letitia Wright ➐ alongside the incredible team at Peacetree Productions the film tells the remarkable true story of 22 families from one East Texas church adopting 77 children from the foster system.

Letitia was deeply passionate about the project, having personally seen the power of fostering and chosen family in her own life, and believing this is a story that needed to be told.

- are we still doing that? well, in honour of we are! Back in 2020, we had the privilege of working on a special resource alongside The Father - the critically acclaimed film starring Anthony Hopkins and Olivia Colman.

Told through the perspective of a man living with dementia, the film powerfully places audiences inside the confusion, disorientation, and emotional reality of memory loss - not just for the individual experiencing it, but for the family members navigating it alongside them.

The film went on to receive six Academy Award nominations, winning Oscars for Best Actor for Anthony Hopkins and Best Adapted Screenplay. Hopkins also became the oldest-ever winner of a competitive acting Oscar at the age of 83.

Projects like this are such an important part of how we support film releases - creating resources, conversations, and spaces that help audiences engage more deeply with the themes explored beyond the screen itself.
