When you watch a young lady grow in confidence, performance, and dance, and you truly get to witness her come into herself and evolve—it’s one of the most beautiful things. You watch them find their voice, discover their strength, and become more than they ever believed they could be.

And then one day, when you’re completely not expecting it, you hear they aren’t coming back… and it just gets to you.

I’m not sure people fully understand that feeling as a dance teacher. We love these kids so deeply. We celebrate their victories, cheer them on, watch them grow, and quietly carry so much pride for them. And when seasons change, it never really gets easier.

I just hope she knows how grateful I am that I got to be a small part of her story and her life. Watching her grow is a gift I’ll always carry with me. 🩵
