A special thank you to Theresa Rutz of Diamond Yellow Rockers for organizing such an amazing group of 20+ dancers to come visit our club dance last night May 16, and to Molly Carpenter of Spinning Moors for organizing a visit by her club members, as well. Several other clubs were represented - Carolina Promenaders and Cane Creek Cruisers and we had some independents too. Your energy, enthusiasm, and support filled the hall with fun and friendship. In addition to our lively and energetic line dancer leader, Larry Yencer, we were also blessed to have a guest line dance leader in the house - Diamond Yellow Rocker's one and only Abigail.

A heartfelt thank you to caller Joshua Ransom (Young at Heart Square Dance Club) for driving all the way from Tennessee to call our dance. His calling, enthusiasm and friendly spirit kept the floor moving and the dancers smiling.

We truly appreciate the time and effort y'all put into bringing everyone together. You helped make the evening extra lively and memorable, and we loved sharing the dance floor with all of you. Come back anytime — our squares are always better with friends like you in them!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out to the Swinging Saints Square Dance Club Open House on Monday, May 11 - including all our wonderful and supportive angels!

We had a wonderful crowd, lots of laughter, and plenty of dancing as everyone learned and practiced several square dance calls taught by caller David Cox. Between tips, we kept the fun going with line dancing and great fellowship!

You all did an amazing job, and we hope you had as much fun as we did. The floor is warmer, the music is calling, and your square dance adventure is just getting started - See you next Monday!

This is a "hot hash" tip called by Joshua Ransom from Tennessee at the SC Convention. We are not dancing hot hash at our May Picnic Promenade dance, but Joshua will be calling. We're so grateful to have young callers so let’s show our support for one of the next generation of callers! Come dance, laugh, and help encourage all as this talented young caller takes the mic and keeps square dancing alive for the future.
