Thank you so much to the Optimist Club of Charlotte, Michigan for supporting our youth programs!

On April 10, 2026, Charlotte Optimist Club Board Member Gene Conley presented a check for $500 to Hollie Auten, Director of the Charlotte Performing Arts Center, to help support the ARTS FOR YOUTH program which provides elementary schools an opportunity to experience a live professional production with their students. The Arts for Youth program also consists of the Onstage Experience and Summer Musical Theatre Camp where youth can do the performing themselves. Optimist of Charlotte, helpers of the youth of our community, meet the second and fourth Thursdays at The Center at 804 S. Cochran. Social time starts at 6 p.m. with supper at 6:30 p.m. followed by a meeting. Guests and new members are always welcome by contacting any member or E-mail [email protected]. Reservations for the meal are due six days before the meeting by using the club email.
