The board did meet to review what has been coming for some time. The space is restructuring because its not compliant with NC law for a non profit. Similar to the reboot done three years ago to become compliant. Currently there is not a solid business plan or direction of where the space needs to be. We have till December to find a new space, with nothing firmed up, along with liability problems with a recent safety concern, Hackerspace Charlotte is closing it's doors. If you need to collect your stored items please contact [email protected] with a time and day to collect your belongings. We have a board meeting on Wednesday at 7pm to go over our status. It's been a good seven years, thank you all for the hard work and dedication over the years.
