Meet Our New Instructor: Tanner Dahlin!

We’re excited to welcome Tanner to the Acting Out Studio team! He’ll be teaching Improv on Thursdays in South Charlotte for students ages 9 through Adult. Tanner will also be available for private coaching and self-tape sessions.

With 27+ years of improv and acting experience, Tanner is a former UCB Touring Company performer who spent over seven years touring nationally and eight years performing regularly at UCB’s legendary New York theater. His acting credits include appearances on Disney, MTV, A&E Biography, and Cartoon Network, as well as numerous national commercials, including serving as The Ridge Wallet’s brand spokesperson. He has taught improv workshops across the country and currently performs in Charlotte with Pillow Talk and Drama Queens.

Tanner believes acting and improv should be fun. He loves helping students get out of their own heads, build confidence, and discover truthful moments that make every performance come alive.
