Supporting our neighbors means investing in spaces where community can grow. Our philanthropic team recently joined local leaders for a hard hat tour of the future New Main Library, a project that will create opportunities for connection, learning and innovation for generations to come.

We are proud to be part of a community that shows up for one another.

Congrats to longtime Crisis Assistance Ministry CEO and friend of Foundation for the Carolinas Carol Hardison, who recently announced her upcoming retirement!

She's had 26 years (and counting) of tremendous impact through Crisis Assistance, a local nonprofit that provides assistance and advocacy for folks in a financial crisis. That's an amazing career that touched countless lives through her work and advocacy.

As a nonprofit client of the Foundation, we are so proud of the work of Crisis Assistance Ministry and cannot wait to see what's next.

Art meets impact.

The launch of fftc:FWD isn’t just about a platform, it’s about a movement shaped by community voices and creative vision.

At the Community Impact Summit, local artists behind the fftc:FWD logo and folio covers shared the meaning behind their designs: capturing connection, momentum and the power of collective action in Charlotte.

Their work reflects what fftc:FWD stands for: making it easier to see the needs, find your role and take the lead in building stronger communities.
