Auditioning for One Voice Chorus is meant to be simple and low-pressure—like a short, friendly conversation. You’ll meet one-on-one with the Artistic Director for about 10–15 minutes. 

The audition will consist of: 
• check-in conversation
• range check
• pitch and rhythm matching/memory - Cory will sing/play something and you will repeat it
• supportive sight-reading - Cory will help you, but he’s looking to see how you approach music you’ve never seen before
• (optional) prepared song - if you have something you’d like to sing, you may, but it’s not required.

There’s no pass/fail in the traditional sense: however it goes, you’re already part of the OVC family, whether that lands you on the performing stage right away, or in OVC Community to continue honing your skills.
