Stylus Soundlounge welcomes the legendary Jimmy Jam for a very special intimate evening of listening and conversation next Wednesday, March 25th.

A world-renowned musician, songwriter, record producer, entrepreneur, philanthropist, and one-half of the influential songwriting/production duo, Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis, Jimmy Jam is celebrating a return to his 70’s DJ roots with special limited appearances in 2026. He joins us as a very special Host Selector in our Legends of Sound series.

He’ll be on the decks in Stylus exploring R&B from the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s from 8pm – 11pm in an exclusive Jimmy Jam set. An artist conversation and meet and greet from 6pm – 7pm will be available as an add-on experience to the evening.

Local producer and musician YagoMeans will present a curated DJ set to open and close this event. This is a very intimate and exceptional evening with extremely limited tickets.

This set serves as a run up to the forthcoming Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis live performance “Nothing But Hits” Las Vegas limited residency starting April 17th at Voltaire at the Venetian Resort.

DJ, producer, vocalist – Colette has grown from an integral part of the Chicago underground into a breakout musical triple-threat. On the decks, Colette combines the tunefulness of classic pop songs with the thump of underground house of her hometown.

She was voted one of the best DJ’s in Los Angeles by LA Times and her love and devotion to the authentic house sound of hometown Chicago can be heard in every set, and generations of diehard fans never fail to appreciate it. Colette’s album ‘Hypnotized’ was one of the most downloaded House dance albums on iTunes featuring the singles “What Will She Do For Love”, “Didn’t Mean To Turn You On” and “Feelin’ Hypnotized”.

In 2013, Billboard named her album ‘When The Music’s Loud’ one of the top 20 albums of the year. In 2023 she celebrated her 10 year anniversary of ‘When The Music’s Loud’. In 2024 we’ve seen more new releases on Candy Talk, SubLevel & No Fuss and a studio album named “Flashback” is set for release later in the year.
