Hey Everyone,
My daughter’s Dance school made a 2021 Calendar. Help me support A Chance to Dance The Movement , which something dear to my family’s heart. Through this group my daughter has been able to feel true INCLUSION. She has gotten to participate in dance recitals and even dance competitions. It’s not everyday a child like my daughter gets to do this.
She was born at 24wks weighing only 1lb 5.5oz. She went through a heart repair and several other surgeries before she even turned 1. Scarlett was in the hospital majority of her first year of life and when it felt like the tide had finally turned, she ended up going through a traumatic brain injury, losing oxygen in her brain, going through septic shock and almost dying before she turned 3. She has profound hearing loss with auditory neuropathy spectrum disorder, nonverbal and has cortical vision impairment. In addition, Scarlett has a trache, feeding tube, and uses a ventilator everyday day. With all that being said, it gives me so joy to see her being included. She loves life to the fullest and spreads joy to every person she meets.
