Liz Haywood is a Charlotte-based muralist and studio artist whose work bursts with unapologetic color, feminist energy, and a touch of cosmic mischief. Known for large-scale public murals across the Southeast, Liz also brings her bold imagination into gallery spaces through paintings on canvas that celebrate nature, resilience, and the surreal.
For this exhibition at The Bohemian Wine Bar, Liz is debuting her brand-new Save the Bees series (2025), a vibrant call to protect pollinators and the ecosystems they sustain. Alongside it, she’s showing pastel witches that shimmer with otherworldly power, radiant aliens who feel like funky kin from another planet, and electrifying cone flowers in candy-bright hues.
Through her work, Liz interprets the beauty of the natural world with a wild, expressive hand—inviting y’all to see plants, animals, and even imagined beings as part of one interconnected, buzzing universe.
