They're spooky and delicious! Welcome to the stage these autumnal watercolor bookmarks. We've got an apple c***r and donuts themed bookmark for autumn, as well as a candy corn and ghosts themed bookmark for Halloween.

A fun little photo dump for the end of September. I've got some new art photography I'll be posting later, but I just wanted to share some of the awesome things that have been going on in my life lately. From Renaissance Faires to a wedding to friend hang outs to bugs, the past few months have been crammed with smiles.

This little Lego art print (3/4) turned out so cute in this little Goodwill frame!

Life update!

Verdict: busy.

I've spent the last month or so redoing the floor of a room in my upstairs with the help of my amazing fiance Keegan M Patrick. We sanded, vacuumed, vacuumed, vacuumed, stained, and sealed the floor before it was finally time to start the process of moving in to my new art office! The theme? Circus clown (all because I found a cute rug I couldn't pass up). I still have a lot of progress to make in getting moved in, but I'm proud of the work I've gotten done so far.

I've also met a few buggy friends at the library these past few weeks. The Waved Sphinx Moth and the Jumping Spider say hello!

Lastly, we've added a new member to our family. When we first got her a couple weeks ago, we didn't realize just how nocturnal ball pythons are. We would joke about how it was like owning a pet rock; we named her Pebble. She's a very friendly, very curious little lady that we are very happy to have in our home.

That's all for now, stay tuned for more ❤️

I met a cute little guy this afternoon while taking some more product photos. He hung out with me the whole time I was getting a sunburn ❤️

An easily accessible, 100% human reference? Your own body is always an option!

This piece, called Magnanimity, was inspired by Rabbitology's song of the same name.

So, I went back to Pinterest to find the name of this person I used as a face reference, and it turns out that it was an unlabeled AI generated photo. I can't begin to explain how frustrating it is to want to practice painting unique individuals and discover they don't even exist. So, because I am grumpy about this, I will not be sharing the reference photo. And I will do better at figuring out if a person is real before painting my next portrait... scout's honor 🫡

I finished this Pinterest Portrait (10/30) back in February, but never got around to photographing it until a few weeks ago.

I forgot to share photos of our trip to the Magical Realm Fantasy Faire this past weekend. It was, as always, a fantastic time! Each year we make more and more friends that make camping an extremely fun experience.

Popping in to share this new bookmark I painted this week. It's only fitting to paint our state rock 🪨
