✨Come see the Stellar Paint Live Saturday 4/18 at CLT Edgefest in First Ward Park✨ ✨

✨ We are so very psyched & honored to have John Hairston Jr. back again to share his stellar energy & expertise with up & coming artists ✨

John is a fine artist/ illustrator from Charlotte, North Carolina. Raised in the era of Reaganomics and hip-hop culture, Hairston uses a mixture of street art, expressionist sensibilities, and vibrant colors to create an aesthetic all his own. Hairston had participated in dozens of group gallery shows across the country, as well as hosted almost a dozen solo art exhibitions. He has done work for the ACC Network, Raycom Sports, the NBA, the NFL, and the NCAA. He has also provided the illustration for numerous musical acts including, The Wu-Tang, Del The Funky Homosapien, Earthgang, and the Grammy award nominated children’s album “The Perfect Quirk” by Secret Agent 23 Skidoo. He is the recipient of many awards including, but not limited to Charlotte Shout! Poster Contest 1n 2018, the Center City Vision Award in 2016 and Midsouth Regional Emmy in 2015. Hairston is a firm believer in art and activism, and can be found hosting workshops working for numerous nonprofits across the United States.

✨The Awesome MemesOnly EatMe is back in partnership with the Stellar Jelly clarckson 😇 to bring a Phenomenal Street Fashion Show like you’ve never seen Saturday Charlotte SHOUT! 🤩✨

Irena Robinson (EatMeXEatMe) is a fashion designer who promotes sustainability through upcycled fashion, using thrifted clothing and fabrics. Her work inspires confidence and self-expression—while showing that anyone can start creating, one simple piece at a time, through repair or thoughtful, creative transformation.

In addition to her design work, Irena is a community organizer who hosts markets for local vendors, creating spaces that support small businesses, creativity, and connection. She is a resident artist at Activation Studios, a Spring 2026 CEI Cohort member, has taught Fashion Design Camp at the McColl Center, and has worked in wardrobe with Blumenthal Studios.

✨ Upcycle Arts | Creative Reuse Center is the conduit for joy & so much more ✨Upcycling — or creative reuse — is turning unwanted or unused items into something more practical or valuable. Upcycle Arts collaborates with Charlotte’s local businesses, manufacturers, and individuals to divert their materials from the landfill. Instead, those materials are made available to the community for use in new ways such as mixed media arts. They connect to the community through their creative reuse center and their programming✨ We were elated to have them out again in the Art Incubator at Charlotte SHOUT! ✨

Be Wowed & Amazed ✨

What an Awesome Experience we have in store for you Saturday ✨You can hop on the drums in the drum circle or hop on stage to be a part of the Jam of all Jams with friday’s dope Rocky Little & Kennon Knight ✨

For Rocky, drumming is a healing medium. It unlocks emotion, relieves stress, and creates a shared sense of connection and well-being between player and listener. Through rhythm, he invites audiences into something deeper—where music moves not just the body, but the spirit.

Kennon has the same vibe holding space with groups like DrumStrong. He has been a life long percussionist & now a storyteller with some strings as well, healing hearts with love, laughter, & the knowledge that music unites us all.

Friday swims in that energy too with her family band inviting everyone to jam out & be a part of the peace & love that music brings to us all ❤️

So excited for this phenomenal interactive performance from 5-6 PM at CLT Edgefest at Charlotte SHOUT! Saturday ✨

✨We are sooooo excited to have out with her otherworldly art 🤩 This stellar and exceptionally versatile Artist will be Painting Live Saturday 4/18 at CLT Edgefest ✨

Maria Napier is a Colombian-American artist based in Charlotte. She earned a BA in Psychology and Communication Studies from UNCC which she uses to understand human behavior, expressing her observations through art. Her “Deconstructed Style” fuses different approaches into colorful illustrations and sculptures. Maria’s thought-provoking pieces aim to inspire new perspectives on mental health and social issues. She is a self-taught artist focusing on mixed media and 3D pieces, often crafted from recycled materials. She actively participates in group exhibits and public art projects in the Charlotte Metro area. In addition to seeing her Paint Live ✨at ✨Pop by to experience & buy her Phenomenal Art✨
