Our next ADULT + TEEN Beginner Pottery starts next Wed. 6-8pm at our Small Hands Big Art pottery studio at in South Charlotte!

Beginner Hand building + Wheel Throwing -6 wks/$210 includes all materials, glaze, and kiln firings. ADULT GELLI PLATE PRINTMAKING WORKSHOP

Join us at for a fun 2 hour afternoon workshop Sat., Sept. 18, 3-5pm, exploring the fundamentals of monotype printing with gel printing plates!

Learn how to create beautifully layered, rich compositions using a variety of materials and technique, including stencils, stamps, masking materials, natural elements such as leaves, texture tools and found objects.

Monotype prints are unique & unpredictable! This type of printmaking is a popular foundation for art or bullet journaling, as they create unique designs on which other mixed media can be layered. After learning the fundamentals and plenty of practice time, participants will each create 10 finished prints on a variety of fine papers.

Our Early Fall ADULT Pottery classes start Wed. Sept. 8 at our Small Hands Big Art Pottery Studio in South Charlotte at .  6 week class session - chose from a 2 hour morning Wheel Throwing + Handbuilding class (Wed. 9:30-11:30am), or 1.5 hr evening class (Wed. 6:00 - 7:30pm).  Classes are small & intimate.  No experience necessary for this beginner level class - just a desire to enjoy a relaxing creative escape and make beautiful objects with your hands!

We’ve had our expanded Art and Pottery Studio open at Waverly in S since last June and are finally (!!) feeling safe enough to squeeze in some very small “big kid” classes + workshops!
