Morning programming is one of the most underutilized opportunities in experiential design.
At 7:30am on a chilly October morning, we produced a sunrise yoga, dance, music, & voting experience in Durham & Charlotte for our client, Daybreaker (Brooklyn, NY). "Party to the Polls" motivated people to get out and vote, and have a great time doing it.
Most people assume: Early = low energy.
When designed properly: You tap into a completely different audience psychology - intentional attendance, solid engagement, and strong community bonding.
Time of day is a programming strategy, not a constraint.
