FYI, I have been doing Dolly shows and numbers since i started drag in the 2000s. Blonde, big b***s and curves was my thing longer than most of you been doing drag - followed by SASS and ASS! My first top 5 placement at National EOY was doing my Dolly talent "Best Little Wh******se in Texas."

FUNDRAISING: We're halfway there! We’re excited to share that $1,040 of our $2,000 goal has been raised for the Oleen’s Historic Marker! These funds were raised during the Queen City Royalty – Pride Revue Drag Show during Charlotte Pride Weekend, hosted by Buff Faye’s Drag Brunch & Dinners — serving the Carolinas since 2009.

Thank you to everyone who came out, donated, tipped, and helped support this important piece of Charlotte’s LGBTQ history! Donations are still welcome, and Buff Faye and other community members will be hosting future events to raise the remaining funds.

Once the $2,000 goal is reached, any additional funds raised will support the Charlotte LGBTQ History, Visibility & Beautification Coalition’s future projects and mission to preserve and celebrate LGBTQ history throughout Charlotte.

Oleen’s is just the beginning. Our history matters, and together we can keep it visible for future generations!
