As a worship leader you can sing a song so many times to the point that if I’m not intentional in my preparation can just be words sung. This week was one of those weeks. I’ve led this song so many times I actually know the lyrics (lol) that’s another story.

Except that the words of this song resonated so loudly last week. In my preparing and still after Sunday the Lord has continually reminded me so sweetly that my circumstance doesn’t determine my JOY. It is a product of the strength that comes when my trust is in the one I know is with me in the circumstance. My heart is still singing …. The Joy of the Lord….. 🎵🎼🎤o-o-o.

Ps 28:7 says it best
The Lord is my strength and my shield;
in him my heart trusts, and I am helped;
my heart exults, and with my song I give thanks to him.

I never know how the nostalgia will hit when I’m in FL. This weekend we drove by the plaza where I did my very first interior buildout as a project manager. It was a little bakery in a strip mall. Prior to that I handled the company finances but in a pinch I had to fill a role in the field and I was hooked !! I think I was 21 years old. 32 years later I still get to help people realize dreams of all different sizes. Thank you .santo & for trusting me.

It’s so hard to believe it’s been a year since God saw it fit to call my uncles home 30 days apart from one another. In the thick of it you feel like you don’t know how life goes on. My aunt said it best. One day at a time and holding on to the sovereignty of God. Today We got to sit together and talk about my sweet Tio Ismael. Moments that make us stronger. We miss them everyday.
