Kindergartners used geometric shapes to create fun robots! They are learning about the Art Elements and how they are the “building blocks” of art. They loved using metallic and fluorescent paints to embellish their wonderful drawings!

Mrs. Dombkowski’s third graders made leaf prints using real leaves, brayers, and white printing ink. We discussed warm and cool colors, creating emphasis in artwork, and they colored the prints with color pencils. Presentation of art is important, and they tried each color of construction paper with their leaf before picking the one that made their work “pop.” Gold and silver markers were used to embellish the frame.
