Our brother from another mother just graduated from Queens University, and ten days ago, he got an award after completing an amazing installation with his artwork and his peers’.
Thanks Tuan for sharing your soul trough your multiple artistic skills and your love for the community. Your artwork tells the story of your ancestors, your environment and the place you will soon frame. Vietnam 🇻🇳 is proud of you!
Also, thanks for inviting us to take part at this extraordinary showcase and award ceremony.

During Mental Health Awareness Month, La Casa de la Cultura is creating a community dance space to move our bodies, breathe together, and nourish ourselves through culture.

Dances, a rehearsal, and a collective memory

This is a space for those 30+ and beyond to experience bodies in community, rhythms that care, and shared presence.

What to expect:

🤎 No dance experience needed.

🤎Bring a $10 donation per person or $15 x 2 people.

🤎 Mindful movement and folkloric rhythms.

🤎 Focus on emotional well-being and community.

👗 Bring a traditional garment or cultural element to wear.

Everyone is welcome! Remember: Healthy culture means we heal together.
