New 4K Restoration! Jacques Tati’s masterpiece is a comedy unlike any other, whose fans include David Lynch and Wes Anderson. The most expensive film in French history, Tati built an entire city to house his dazzling story about confusion in an age of runaway technology. Packed with brilliantly choregraphed gags and visual jokes, Playtime was voted the 23rd best film of all time in the 2022 Sight & Sound poll.
