Former “Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood” star has opened up about her nearly fatal car accident in March 2022. As you may recall, Watts suffered severe injuries, including a fractured skull, broken spine, and shattered arm. The reality star was also in a coma for months.

In a very emotional interview with soft_white_underbelly, Watts revealed that she was intoxicated while driving, which resulted in the crash. She said she didn’t disclose this information earlier because she feared judgment. Watts also mentioned that she wished one of her friends had prevented her from driving. ___________________________________
“Everybody knew I was drunk. They saw me leave,” she said. “The cold part was I had somebody in my car, and they knew I was drunk. They let me leave, I dropped her off, and she said she didn’t want to get into any confrontation with me.”

📢 After 5 and a half amazing years, Training Day CLT is closing the chapter on our open mics and stepping into something NEW to continue supporting and uplifting the local artists of Charlotte. 🎤💫

Since day one, we’ve been honored to create a home for artists to express themselves, connect, and grow alongside one another. The open mic nights became a space where dreams were shared, talent was nurtured, and a true community was built. To every artist who stepped through our doors, your energy and dedication have meant everything. Thank you for trusting us to be part of your journey.

Enough is ENOUGH!

First n foremost we want to apologize to every one of our tdclt alum for this past collab event Tuesday.

Regardless how any artist may feel about or ME one thing no artist can EVER say about tdclt is that we did them dirty, held an unorganized show, showed favoritism, stole from them, or overpriced them for ANYTHING!

Tdclt brand was built by the artist FOR the artist so EVERYTHING that we do internally ALWAYS has the BEST interest of the ARTIST at heart…

So with that said..

We as a collective and I As the individual sees EVERYTHING that goes on here in the Charlotte music scene and it’s quite disheartening watching how they do the local artist out here!

Even when we try “collaborating” with other ententes, by putting our brand on the line, we a lot of times have to take the heat when things go astray and left covering up or explaining others mishaps.

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH…..

As an artist especially local artist you’re aiming to get your music out there and to be seen and heard and is looking for ANY opportunity to do so, and that’s where these money hungry so called “Big personalities ,promoters, and dj’s swoops in and TAKE yall bread without YOU the artist receiving anything of value to take with you!

All it did was probably stroke ya ego a lil bit to say you performed at such n such with such n such there but then what???? They left with the 💰and YOU the artist left with your ego stroked and broke!

All Charlotte music scene is, a popularity contest that is cliched up with groups of people claiming to be this n that and using the local artist to make ends meet… THAT’S IT. And guess what??? You the artist falls for it EVERYTIME….

There are platforms like us and to name a very select few that actually CARES about the artist, your development , the music CULTURE and sacrifices popularity for CREDIBILITY..

Charlotte music scene lacks IDENTITY, A SOUND, and a CULTURE and all these watered down showcases disguised as open mics, promoters and djs does NOTHING for it!
