We at That Type are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of the one and only Tim Curry.

As he descended from the elevator over at the Frakenstein Place, he immediately captivated those of us who felt like misfits, freaks, and outsiders. For over 50 years he inspired us to be loud and proud, flamboyant, messy, and unafraid.

Though he may be gone, he will be with us in spirit every night, at every one of our performances. In honor of the man who inspired us to think "don't dream it; be it": thank you, Tim.

Tool Chest Productions is holding a casting call for our upcoming show, "Circus, Circus", on Friday, October 9, at The Rooster in Gastonia, NC.

We are seeking submissions from burlesque performers, drag artists, and variety acts. While the primary theme is circus, we welcome flexible interpretations of the concept.
