Ahead of the big day tomorrow, I wanted to share that in remembrance of Laura Davis, 20% of Woodleaf Studios’ sales will be donated to out of Asheville, NC.
The world lost an extraordinary soul this past August, someone that was driven to create, devoted to teaching, and deeply passionate about clay. Laura was the kind of lifelong friend you imagine sitting beside on a porch at 70, knitting, laughing, and sharing stories. Every visit with her left me charged with the urge to make something. Whether with metal, fiber, collage, or paint. Laura was my muse.
Laura may no longer be with us, but I’ll be damned if the world doesn’t continue to feel her inspiration.
Odyssey Clayworks’ goal is to make classes and workshops available to all members of the community, regardless of income level. 100% of every donation that Odyssey receives goes directly to supporting their scholarship program benefitting veterans, underrepresented communities, at risk youth and more.
