This design draws on my Italian heritage from my grandmother 💙 “Protetta” is the feminine Italian word for “protected”. I feel protected having my grandmother’s spirit guiding me ✨

The mano co***to is an ancient protective symbol to protect against the malocchio, or evil eye: a manifestation of bad luck/energy. Slap that protection on anything you please with these new stickers! (3”x3”)

This ancient Italian symbol originated as a protection against the evil eye, or malocchio, resembling a horned beast. It was more recently popularized by Black Sabbath rocker Ronnie James Dio. His Italian grandmother taught him the meaning of the symbol and he made it a stage signature at shows, not wanting to copy Ozzy’s signature double peace signs.

✨✨REBRAND ALERT✨✨
Made with Luz is now, Made with Luce! Luce is the Italian word for “light” ❤️‍🔥I originally thought of using this word for my brand but decided against it because I know Spanish and more people in my area speak Spanish than Italian. However, my maternal grandmother was Italian, just a few generations down from our ancestors who first came to the U.S. My Italian side of the family has always been a bit superstitious, and from a young age I realized that jewelry wasn’t just jewelry. It was protection. It was a personal statement. It could show how you felt and what energy you needed. It was magic. My Grammy loved gemstones and minerals. She taught me how to check if they were real and even encouraged us grandkids to go out and find our own in the creek every summer. Over time I started learning about the healing properties of these gorgeous natural wonders and started making jewelry with the intention of healing. That is how my little business started. With this name change, I want to honor Grammy and our family by acknowledging our roots. I am grateful for what they have taught me and how they continue to guide me. I am so excited for this new chapter because it just feels so right✨

I’m excited to be offering these cute lil “Root” prints inspired by divine feminine energy and wisdom. I have some in black and some with multiple colors, each one uniquely its own! These will be available tomorrow at the Enlightened Heart Pop-Up Market ❣️I will post what I have left over for purchase next week ✨
