A Social Light Production is a platform that connects the world through Faith, Culture and Entertainment. Back in 2023, Johnette N. Karpeh kicked off “Real Faith Stories” where people shared why “Holy is a Vibe” and why they are a vibe. This particular series was in honor of Holy Week. We will highlight a few of those stories over the next couple of weeks.

She is the mother of three handsome young men Josiah, Joshua and Simeon and wife to her handsome big man, Clay Parker. She loves God and has never been afraid to represent him out loud. That is why her holy is a whooole vibe!”

Johnette used to kick off her holidays watching Charlotte Soccer Family bring the heat on the field and then gather afterwards to eat Ma Helena’s Kitchen delicious food. Thank you guys for nurturing a tight-knit community. It is truly good for the soul. A special shout out to Helena Chea Vincent (official caterer for ) for the delicious cuisine. The Cassava leaf, pepper soup and potato greens were correct👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾 but then again those fingers don’t miss 🔥💛✨

Sometimes God will guide you not to answer your prayer, but as a case study to see if you will be obedient in following instructions, regardless of desired results. The goal is to enjoy life. For me that’s fulfilling my God given vision and purpose.

I’m proud of you. I’m rooting for you. When one person wins, we all win! No competition. Know who God says you are and move like you believe it…

What consumes my mind is what consumes me. Lord help me stay consumed with who and what matters.

🇱🇷One Star. One Community.🇱🇷

All over the world people of Liberian heritage are celebrating Flag Day. A Social Light Production is a platform that is connecting the world through Faith, Culture, and Entertainment. As a first generation Liberian-American, Johnette’s goal and mission was to bridge the gap between both of her cultures. She was born within the tightknit community of Liberians right here in Charlotte. That’s where she learned how to love her culture, share her culture, and utilize her resources to promote her culture.

Johnette’s vision and mission continues to shine even in her absence. As a major advocate of giving a voice to the next generation, we look to the youth as they raise their voices, share their vision, and display their talent. They will be the ones to lead us into a bright future.

How do we celebrate Flag Day?

Bridge the gap, promote the culture.
We wave the flag by using our voices, standing tall, and being confident in the power of who we are. We tell our stories and share our experiences. Most importantly, we recognize the importance of each person who represents that One Star. We recognize that even though our experiences are different, we are all important to the future of the flag.

One thing about Carlo, he will always pause to give honor to God. He knows that he would not be where he is today without his Lord and Savior. Carlo is an overcomer and successful serial entrepreneur. He walks in purpose and stays in his lane.

He is a great man of faith, service and excellence. He is very passionate about life, health & fitness and he adores his family!
