Late night thoughts after a long day and what is sure to be a long week.

(Posted much later than I’d like, but editing takes time 🫠)

And the post about Rose was by LearningHerbs, if you wanna check it out!

After stressing over how to do this unboxing “the right way,” I decided a few hours ago that it’s just not that deep 😂

This package, for my first partnership, was such a joy to open. This is not even close to all the products that has, so I encourage you to check out their website (and follow them)! There’s something for everyone, whether you wanna better your gut health and digestion (which will improve EVERYTHING), focus, sleep, immune health, or stress. My body has been in need of bitters for a long time, and I finally started the Citrus Bitters this evening.

Maybe don’t try this one at home, friends!
Or do, you’re an autonomous bean.

I walk down this road pretty frequently and have to drive on it, but on Sunday I was playing passenger princess and saw a bunch of new plants that popped up! I thought (and hoped) it might be Yarrow, but it was something else I hadn’t considered at all: Queen Anne’s Lace!!!

My plant and reproductive health worlds colliding 😩🥰🤌🏽

The end of 2025 handed me a huge curveball (scroll down the grid if you don’t know what I’m talking about)! And I’m still recovering mentally and physically from it.

Grateful to those who have stuck with me while it’s been quiet over here, I’ve tried to envision next steps, and I’ve lost my relationship with knitting (and with the outside environment, truthfully) and am trying to put it back together. On that note, if you have any tips, suggestions, or ideas about events I should be going to, to start engaging with community again, float me a message! Same for local businesses or orgs that might be good partners in this uncertain journey I’m embarking upon.

This video is long overdue, but starts to piece together what’s been running through my head the past few months. It was slightly too long for the alg, so a second part will be coming soon. 💗

Surprise!

About two months ago, I was approved to be a brand ambassador with !! I can’t even believe that I’m saying that!

And you might be wondering: “Toni, does this mean you’re an influencer girlie now?” Absolutely NOT. We will still remain as authentic as possible over here. And generally I like to ensure that any partner of mine is aligned with my values, and that includes this one.

Urban Moonshine is making herbal medicine (and education) more-accessible and within reach, which is what I want all of you to experience with herbalism! Their specialty is herbal bitters, something that we don’t get enough of in the Western world, but highly affects our digestion, gut health, and overall immune health (which is connected to our gut health!). And bitters are something that I too could personally benefit from right now as they would help with symptoms I’ve been experiencing for a long time, like acne, leaky gut, hormone imbalances, and more.

Urban Moonshine is also herbalist-founded and run, which is a big deal, because a lot of wellness brands that use herbs don’t know the full story behind these plants. I believe we need to get back to our roots and doing the things that make us whole.

I’ll follow up with an official unboxing ☺️

Life imitates art.

In college I had a therapist who once gave me a cutting of one of her plants. She told me that how well this plant was doing would be a reflection of how I was doing.

Once I made the decision that it was time to finish this sweater, I realized that my ability to work on it these past few months reflected how I was doing personally.

On the day before Thanksgiving, my mother told me that she had been struggling to find a brown cardigan. I took this as a challenge—I started shopping for the right shade of brown and looked through sooo many patterns feeling intimidated by most on Thanksgiving night, and went to Michaels the next day to pick up the yarn. I didn’t know it at the time, but I was (technically, not legally) 1 week pregnant.

I was knitting this sweater during my first day of work on December 8. I was knitting this sweater while trying to keep calm, just a week later, when I found out I was pregnant and had to fight with my OBGYN clinic to be seen. I was knitting this sweater 2 days later on December 17 when my release started as I lied in bed, while the pain was still bearable. Once it intensified, the sweater lied in my bed just as I did, barely moving. And as my emotional pain intensified in the coming days, weeks, and months, the sweater barely moved from my floor, seeing everything.

This sweater saw me through a lot of MF life. It’s always hard to give away projects I put work into, but I think this one may have been my baby. I thank her for her extreme patience and unconditional love.

This is for the OG Plant Mama, for whom I added the special touches of pockets and a Monstera leaf. Sending love to all forms of moms, especially those that are single, mother figures, have had abortions/pregnancy losses, or are struggling with their current reality. It’s okay not to feel happy on a holiday, but I hope you can create some happiness for yourself.
