With Gratitude ❤️

After much thought and many conversations, we have some bittersweet news to share: Spring Maker’s Fest will no longer be taking place.

With Janice’s upcoming move, we’ve made the decision to cease operations and bring Spring Maker’s Fest to a close.

For the past four years, Maker’s Fest has been a wonderful celebration of makers, artists, small businesses, and our community. We’ve watched it grow, made countless memories, and had the privilege of working alongside so many incredibly talented vendors and dedicated volunteers.

To everyone who participated, volunteered, attended, shopped, shared a post, brought a friend, or simply spent a Saturday wandering through the festival: thank you. You helped make Maker’s Fest something truly special.

It’s never easy to close a chapter that has brought so much joy, but we’re incredibly grateful for the people we’ve met and the community we’ve built along the way.

Thank you for being part of the Maker’s Fest story. We’ll treasure the memories. ❤️

It was a fabulous day to celebrate our community of fiber lovers. From the vendors that provide the gorgeous and tempting raw materials to the volunteers that make the work load a little easier and keep the event running smoothly, we appreciate you! And a huge THANK YOU to our supporters for your hugs, words of admiration and encouragement and your dollars. We wouldn't be here without you!

Save the date for May 15th, 2027. See you then!

We're thrilled to host a scavenger hunt for the first time ever at Spring Maker's Fest. Consider this your official challenge... will you find EVERY object on the postcard and earn the "Official Fiber Enthusiast" sticker? You have to attend the festival on Saturday, May 16th to find out if you're up to the challenge!

🔆 *Vendor Spotlight* 🔆

I hope you visit Winding Wool Creek Fiber while you are at the sale. My name is Barb. I missed last year breaking my toe the day before, so I will be there with bells on this year.

I will be offering mostly carded Art Batts and dyed roving along with a nice variety of add in fibers if you wish to create your own Art yarn. I'll also have some felted items and of course, yarn!

🔆 *Vendor Spotlight* 🔆

My name is Stephanie, and I am the dyer behind Blooms & Ewe hand-dyed yarn and fiber. Our family lives on a small homestead in Michigan, where we raise our 4 kids, and a lot of chickens. I love all the creative rabbit holes and am currently in the process of setting up a quaint pottery studio adjacent to my dye studio.

I absolutely love color theory and texture! My love of color and texture stems heavily
from my fine art background. Those elements cross over beautifully to the fiber arts world!

Blooms&Ewe was started in 2021, and it has been a wonderful experience thus far. I have been able to meet so many wonderful people, and am fortunate to now call many of them friends. This spring I am happy to be bringing 3 new bases all grown, spun, and dyed in the United States!
