Over halfway through this bobbin lace piece. It’s the biggest pattern I’ve worked with so far. It’s roughly 6.5”x11.5” and uses 64 bobbins (or as us bobbin lacers say: 32 pairs).

I entered the cosplay contest at Queen City Anime Con and won ✨Best of the Weekend✨ for my Renaissance Bakugo costume. 😱😍🥰 I cried so hard.
There were many times where I doubted people would get the reference. Or that my costume wasn’t as impressive as other work I’ve seen. This award was the self-esteem boost that I needed. My husband actually encouraged me to enter the contest because I needed some kind of validation. I really didn’t expect to win best overall.
