Happy 250th Independence Day, America! 🇺🇸✨Today is no ordinary 4th of July—we are celebrating a monumental quarter-millennium of freedom, history, and American spirit. 🎆
🔴⚪🔵Here in historic Charlestown, Maryland (founded all the way back in 1742!), we are surrounded by the deep roots of our nation’s story. From serving as a vital Continental Army supply depot during the Revolutionary War to welcoming founding fathers like George Washington, our local shores have seen history unfold first-hand. 🦅
At The Wellwood, we are proud to be a part of that rich local heritage. For over a century, our walls have stood as a gathering place for community, good fellowship, and American presidents—from Grover Cleveland to Teddy Roosevelt.
Today, we honor that 250-year legacy the best way we know how: with incredible company, stunning waterfront views of the North East River, and the very best Maryland tradition has to offer. 🦀🍻
