Charleston hospitality flows as naturally as our tidal creeks. How fortunate are we to live here! Growing up in Charleston, I found out at an early age that sitting still for awhile at the beach or on a dock was often all

that was needed to gain perspective and was just plain good for the soul. Several of my paintings are inspired by those images. Today, the need to go off and sit along our scenic landscapes is still there, but the opportunities to do so are less. However, getting together with friends is always as refreshing. So, I’m excited to offer a fun way to get together with friends and create a magnificent masterpiece of epic proportion admired by the masses for generations... okay reality check, …to create a piece of art. Although, many people from my classes have discovered a hidden talent and have begun to pursue painting, so you never know. Most simply enjoy the creative process and all it has to offer. Paint the Town Charleston started by one of the best ways possible – with friends. The first group I taught to paint was a group of my dear friends. My husband made easels out of pallets and we set up in our garage. We had such a great time that we did it again and again. Word caught on and soon it was time for Paint the Town Charleston. I am incredibly thankful for the encouragement and support of family and friends. I’ve met some wonderful people through the development of Paint the Town Charleston and enjoyed the process of getting to know them through art. So grateful to our daughter, Hannah Reimus, for pulling together the first book signing for Proverbs Tells Me So! She made it exciting and successful! I so enjoyed meeting the wonderful people of Clovis, NM and the our incredible military that serve with our son-in-law there! What a beautiful community! Thank you Java Loft for your hospitality!

Hey Friends! Please "Like" the new Proverbs Tells Me So page for updates on the book!!!!! It came out last Friday, 6/28, and has been hovering at the Amazon #1 and #2 New Release spots on the Children's Christian Devotional list and Children's Christian Prayer list all week... IDK how that happened either. I know God is good though!!

Proverbs Tells Me So uses modern poems inspired by Proverbs poetry to excite our next generation about seeking wisdom from the Bible! Engaging animals capture children’s imagination and pique their interests in learning more from the Book of Proverbs.
