One of our favorite FREE community concerts is right around the corner! 🌅 Our annual Sunset Serenade performance at the Custom House will kick off the 2026 Piccolo Spoleto Festival Friday, May 22 at 8:00pm. 🏛️ 🎶 There's no better way to start Memorial Weekend than enjoying some live classical music with friends and family in downtown Charleston! 🎻 Grab a beach chair or blanket and arrive early to enjoy music you know and love, led by the talented Ryo Hasegawa. 🪄

It's National Teacher Appreciation Day! 🍏 Thank you teachers for all that you do to educate and nurture the next generation. 📝 We are particularly grateful for all the wonderful teachers who have partnered with us for our Young People's Concerts, teaching music education to 3rd-5th grade students who are then able to perform on recorder alongside our musicians at the Gaillard! 🪈 This quote from a teacher who participated in our most recent YPC demonstrates the impact the program has. ❤️
