We’re taking over the Terrace Theater for an OCTOBER SPOOKTACULAR featuring games, prizes, virgin sacrifices, thrills, chills, special guests, and all the wonderfully inappropriate audience participation you know and love.

The cast of Twelfth Night had a surprise rainbow 🌈 last night while rehearsing at the Joseph S. Daning Amphitheater - we think maybe Dolly and Tim were smiling on us 😊

Charleston’s Absent Friends has been deeply saddened by the loss of the one and only Tim Curry. His portrayal of Dr. Frank-N-Furter has inspired generations in the LGBTQIA+ community to be out and proud: “Don’t dream it, be it.” CAF was founded as a Rocky Horror Picture Show shadow cast, and that legacy will continue to be the foundation of our organization and the backbone of who we are.

For our RHPS performance on September 4, we will be presenting a special tribute to one of the most iconic characters in cult cinema. Making the night even more special, almost all of our Franks from the past 10 years will be returning to celebrate Tim Curry and the character that started it all!

* Audience sing-along to “I’m Going Home” with a special candlelight vigil
* Dress as your **BEST** Dr. Frank-N-Furter or Tim Curry character—the more creative, the better!
* Enter our Frank/Tim-themed costume contest for a chance to win a Guilty Pleasures certificate
