📻 ATTENTION, SISTERS OF THE SUSAN B. ANTHONY SOCIETY FOR THE SISTERS OF GERTRUDE STEIN! 📻
Now that our glorious run of 5 Le****ns Eating a Quiche and our Pride Rocky Horror Picture Show has come to an end, the widows have finally finished tidying up the hall, folding the tablecloths, and scraping the last bits of quiche from the serving trays.
During cleanup, however, Sister Ginny discovered a most peculiar contraption hidden behind a stack of emergency canned goods. After several heated committee meetings and one minor electrocution, we have determined it to be a communication device from the far-flung future year of 2026!
Using this mysterious machine, we wish to send our heartfelt thanks to every sister, widow, and quiche enthusiast who joined us for these performances. Your laughter, applause, enthusiasm, and unwavering devotion to pastry-based fellowship made these productions truly unforgettable.
We are endlessly grateful for your support of Charleston’s Absent Friends and the q***r arts community. Whether you attended one show or many, cheered for the widows, tossed toast at Rocky, or simply shared our posts with friends, you helped make this season extraordinary.
Until our next gathering, keep your crusts flaky, your coffee hot, and your emergency preparedness kits fully stocked.
