Huge shoutout to our friends at Mountain Table!

Their Bourbon Infused Coffee has been nominated for the 2026 Coolest Thing Made in West Virginia West Virginia Manufacturers Association.

Roasted in Renick, WV, using organic beans and infused with The Bullock Distillery bourbon, this roast is a true celebration of West Virginia craft, collaboration, and coffee culture.

We love seeing our local roasters get the statewide recognition they deserve!

Meet Libby Powell from Sibling Coffee Roasters in historic downtown Charles Town, an incredible member of the West Virginia Coffee Festival planning committee!

Libby started her roasting journey in her home garage using a hot air popcorn maker.

What began as a personal passion quickly grew from local farmers markets into a beloved brick and mortar cafe centered around kindness, community, and exceptional specialty coffee.

Meet Rachel Barnette, the heart and founder behind the West Virginia Coffee Festival!

Rachel launched Bean Theory Coffee out of a deep passion for coffee and community, using her scientific background to craft tailored specialty roasts served with a smile from her mobile espresso bar.

That same passion inspired her to bring our state’s craft coffee scene together under one roof, and she’s supported by an incredible team. Stay tuned as we introduce the rest of our dedicated committee members soon!

If you are down at the State Fair of West Virginia this week, make sure you swing by the Country Store in the Gus R. Douglas building to support some serious local coffee talent.

Mountain Table and Mountain Folk Coffee roasters are set up with the West Virginia Department of Agriculture to share some of the best craft roasts our state has to offer.

Stop on by, grab yourself some fresh local beans, and show them both some love while you are out enjoying the fairgrounds!
