I’m a little late but wanted to give y’all an update!
Eva recently moved out to LA for a truly special opportunity to study music production at for a year! So far she’s been killing it, working alongside some extremely talented musicians and world-class producers to create a new song every week. Be sure to follow her solo page .king.music to keep up with her music magic 🧙♀️
With all that being said, our work as a duo will be on hiatus for some time while she’s away.
This is the first time in over a decade of performing professionally together that we’ve taken an extended break, so it feels pretty bittersweet.
Doing this with Eva has always been both creatively rewarding and challenging, emotionally satisfying and physically tiring. It has given me a whole new perspective on following your passions while working full-time, and an appreciation for anyone who works in or is pursuing a creative field.
There’s a lot of joy to be found in music: It can fill your cup to the brim, but only if your cup has enough room to take it. I’ve been lucky enough to work alongside a close friend and sibling for a long time, and we’ve experienced plenty of joy together. I know she’ll continue to blossom as an artist in LA.
In the meantime, I’ll be trying to develop my solo act more as well on my own page so be on the lookout for that 😊
Lastly, thank you all for sticking around — it means the world to us that we have dedicated fans who come out to our shows and listen to our music. It’s crazy that so many people have connected with our songs, and we don’t take that for granted. Hope to see you soon ✌️
