EIU Ballroom Dance Society

EIU Ballroom Dance Society Ballroom dancing Ballroom Dance Society is a registered student organization at Eastern Illinois University.

We meet every Tuesday at 7:30pm to learn the basic steps to dances such as Waltz, Fox Trot, Swing, Cha Cha, Tango, Rumba, Merengue, Salsa, as well as other ballroom dances. No experience or partner necessary, come as you are and well teach you how to dance. Through out the semester we also have opportunities to teach ballroom dance workshops, dance at fund raising events, and take a yearly trip to dance at a ballroom in Savoy, IL.
