We are seeing plenty of storms passing offshore this week here in Charleston, SC!! The Morris Island Lighthouse was one of Jim's favorite places to watch them pass. Watching storms offshore from the beach is so unique, with such a wide view to see sheets of rain, lightning, unique cloud formations, cool sky colors, and even a waterspout if you're lucky! Jim's painting "Morris Island Light" is available in our Classic Edition:

Built in 1828–29, the College of Charleston’s Randolph Hall is one of the oldest college buildings still in use in the U.S. Named for the 11th president of the College (Harrison Randolph), Randolph Hall served as the main academic building on campus for many years. Today, it is used primarily for administrative offices, although it still contains some classrooms. The main meeting area, located on the second floor, is called Alumni Memorial Hall. Many of the College’s formal ceremonies and announcements take place here. National Historic Landmark. Jim's original painting (shown) titled "Randolph Hall" was donated to the College of Charleston for public display.

The Admiral’s Quarters A at the Charleston Naval Yard/Naval Base is a physical reminder of the commanding role the Naval Base played in the development of Charleston and in the defense of the United States. Prominently situated upon a hilltop overlooking the Base grounds, the Admiral’s house stands now a silent sentinel watching over its history and the contributions of thousands. The acquaintances made, friendships forged and a great sense of pride in what was accomplished here will endure forever for all who were a part of Charleston Naval Yard/Naval Base from 1901 to 1996. You can visit the Admiral’s Quarters on the beautiful grounds of the North Charleston Riverfront Park. In recent years, the house has been renovated and turned into an event space. Jim's painting "Admirals Quaters A" is available in our Limited Edition Prints. This lithograph mats to fit a standard 24"x36" frame. Shop in person from our vendor booth inside Patina Market or for shipping shop online: https://jimbooth.com/product/admirals-quarters-a/
