Featuring a new body of paintings that move between portraiture, atmosphere, and instinct, the exhibition marks an exciting new chapter in the artist’s evolving practice.

Inside the studio of Riivo Kruuk as he prepares for After The Net, a forthcoming solo exhibition of new paintings opening June 5 at Stevenson & Co.

The exhibition will present a new body of work continuing the artist’s exploration of portraiture, atmosphere, and memory through an increasingly intuitive and painterly approach.

While the Charleston Gallery Association First Friday Artwalk carries on tonight, Stevenson & Co. will be closed to the public. We’ll be back in full stride next week, with normal hours resuming Tuesday, May 5.

In the meantime, we’re already looking ahead— our June 2026 First Friday brings a major moment for the gallery with a celebratory third solo exhibition by Riivo Kruuk.
