What a way to wrap up the Children’s Piccolo Spoleto Festival! Yesterday’s finale at Hampton Park was filled with giant bubbles, face painting, hands-on crafts, carnival fun, sweet treats, and plenty of smiles. Thank you to all the families, performers, partners, and volunteers who joined us for an afternoon of creativity, imagination, and play.

Here’s to the next generation of art lovers. 🎨

The Sound of Charleston: America 250 Edition

Now in its 16th season, The Sound of Charleston continues to be a Piccolo Spoleto favorite. The program highlights Charleston’s rich musical heritage, from gospel spirituals to the music of George Gershwin, light classics of the Street. Cecelia Society, Civil War camp songs and jazz Standards. Performers include Ann Caldwell, former Mayor John Tecklenburg, the Bright Family Singers and a host of other Lowcountry legends.
