Welp I’m not fond of doing business recaps. However, never have had to take such a large step back. At the end of 2023 I was diagnosed with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome Hypermobile with Fibromyalgia. So I spent time relearning to use my hands. Then 2024 I was thrown into being the soul parent at home while my kids Dad was away. So I came into 2025 with intentions of going at my own pace and making art I LOVE. This year and time spent creating and away from the studio has made fall back deeply in love with my practice. I don’t know what 2026 will look like. Will I still be making art at a more niche smaller artisan pace, yeah. But I’ll be showing up more. Reworking how things look still. Thank you for sticking by me.

I’m going to say this with my whole chest. My silence has been out of respect for my Baby Daddy’s job. No more. If you didn’t know where I stand… there’s the door. Art is political. My art is political. My art is for every weird kid. Every poor kid. Every “othered” person by the GOP.

All of this a random combinations of work in progresses to show you all that I’m not up 20 hours a week in the studio. In April I was only doing able to maybe do an hour here and there and then I couldn’t move my hands or walk for days. Through PT and OT and modern Medicine and Alt Medicine I’ve getting better. 20 hours is my max though. Unfortunately. But it’s better than nothing. However. I’m only going to make things I love. So flowers and quilted things. lol. I’m taking a vacation for now. But restocking shops and online update to come.

Now that the dust has settled I get to show off in my grid other makers. What?! “That doesn’t help your brand blah blah blah” I honestly don’t care. What I do care about is making myself happy and uplifting people around me and I got the pleasure of fan girling over some of these artists and makers at then bring home some lute. There are other artist/makers I will for sure be supporting soon enough. It’s one of the many pleasures about my job, meeting other creators. Then getting to support them. Getting to shout them out because they are AMAZING and I think you should check them out. Again a rambling post by me but hey this my page and I get to do what I want. Haha. Go send some love to these fabulous people.
