It’s the last week of May… but there’s still time to join us in our annual May Giving Campaign! 💚

Kaylee Lass, our director of exhibitions is here to tell you all about the campaign and how to get involved. Because of you, the Halsey Institute continues to present bold exhibitions that expand how our community engages with contemporary art in the City of Charleston.

Every exhibition starts long before the gallery opens: with planning, production, materials, and the collaborative effort that brings artists’ ideas to life. 🎨

Let’s build something meaningful together! To donate, head to the link in our bio today 💚

Our May Giving campaign is still in full swing! Our community engagement extraordinaire, Camela Guevara, is here to tell you all about building the experiences behind every exhibition! ✨

At the Halsey, building an exhibition also means building experiences for our community! Camela’s job is all about creating those experiences through Family Days, artist talks, workshops, film screenings, guided tours, and programs for schools and local groups. These moments help people connect with contemporary art in meaningful ways, and they’re an important part of every exhibition. 🖼️ 🎨✨

70% of the funding we raise goes directly toward creating exhibitions, including all the fun programs and events we host each year. This May, help us reach our $20,000 goal!

Donate to our May Giving campaign at the link in our bio!💚
