You know what Hot Girls don’t do? Trademark phrases that don’t belong to them. 🤘🏻
ICYMI - Allie Rose Co. is trademarking the phrase “hot girls read” because she started reading a whopping THREE years ago and started putting this phrase on her small biz items. 👀 She claims she never saw this phrase being used elsewhere despite the bookish community knowing it’s been around for a hot ass minute. ✨ Allie Rose Co then posted a very passive aggressive “take all your s**t down” story and a sad excuse of an explanation as to why she is doing all this. These stories and the original announcement post have since been deleted. I had to remove my kindle charm and bookmark from my Etsy to avoid any legal issues. 🤍 This ain’t hot girl s**t. This ain’t Small Businesses supporting Small Businesses. This is pathetic.
