Join us for Open Mic Night THIS FRIDAY in the fine arts building at Holy Spirit Lutheran Church!
We are looking for upcoming artists, anyone who wants to showcase their talents, or who has something they want to express. Sing, perform a monologue, play an instrument, read poetry, do a standup rountine... you name it! 6-7pm will be family friendly and 7-9pm it's all bets off - adults only!

It was a night of beautiful music at Holy Spirit Lutheran Church as we prepared for Hymnfest 2024 this coming Saturday at 6pm! I hope you will join us as we celebrate PEACE through Diversity, Understanding and Acceptance! We’ve got anthems from our favorite composers, we’ve got messages of encouragement from Pastor Jeffrey Shealy, Pastor Kathy Priest Hudson from St. George United Methodist Church and Reverend Charles Jenkins from Bishop Gadsden Episcopal Retirement Community, Charlestowne Brass and choir members from Holy Spirit, St. Johannes Lutheran Church, Lutheran Church of the Redeemer, John Wesley United Methodist Church, St Mark United Methodist Church - Charleston, SC, St. Luke's Lutheran church, The Plantation Singers and more!!

Our ecumenical service of music combines voices and musicians from Holy Spirit Lutheran, St. Lukes Lutheran, St. Mark United Methodist, John Wesley United Methodist, Redeemer Lutheran, Mt. Pleasant Presbyterian and St. Johannes Lutheran Churches, the Plantation Singers, Charlestowne Brass and musicians from North Carolina! You don’t want to miss this amazing night of friendship, fellowship, love and peace! Saturday, February 3rd at 6:00pm. Doors open at 5:30pm. ALL are welcome and admission is free to everyone! Calling all singers!! Our annual Hymn Festival at Holy Spirit Lutheran Church is Saturday, February 3rd and we need more voices to join us as we celebrate diversity, understanding and acceptance through music!! This is a short-term commitment with 2 Sunday evening rehearsals on January 14th and 28th! Final rehearsal will be Friday, February 2nd followed by the concert on Saturday the 3rd. We will be joined by members of the Charleston Symphony and more!! If you are interested, feel free to contact me! Please share this with everyone on your page as well!

It was a wonderful night of beautiful music as we welcomed the Newberry College Choirs to Holy Spirit! We are so thankful they chose our church as one of the stops on their 2023 choir tour! Thank you to everyone who helped make this evening possible and for attending the concert.
