What a wonderful Guest Night!

We were delighted to welcome a fantastic group of guests—and a visiting Sweet Adeline from Ohio—for an evening filled with harmony, laughter, learning, and connection.

Every member of Charleston Sound Chorus was once a guest, taking that first step through the door. We're grateful to everyone who joined us and shared in the joy of ringing chords and four-part harmony.

Thank you for spending your evening with us. We loved having you, and we hope to see many of these smiling faces again soon!

Happy Juneteenth!

Today we celebrate freedom, resilience, and the enduring contributions of Black Americans throughout our nation's history.

Did you know that barbershop harmony traces many of its roots to African American musical traditions of the late 1800s? Black singers helped shape the rich harmonies, improvisation, and quartet-style singing that would eventually become the barbershop music we love today.

As we honor Juneteenth, we also celebrate the voices, creativity, and cultural influences that continue to inspire singers and audiences everywhere.

🎶🇺🇸 Yesterday was one for the books!

Charleston Sound Chorus was thrilled to share our Red, White, and Ringing performance as part of Piccolo Spoleto, helping kick off the celebration of America's 250th anniversary through the joy of a ca****la harmony.

Even more exciting—we surpassed last year's attendance, filling the hall with music, laughter, and ringing chords! Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the afternoon such a memorable success.

Here's to preserving the traditions we love while creating new memories together. ❤️🤍💙🎶
